This "Trade" item has been dated back to as early as 1650. This was recorded through a Pequot specimen, and spread over most of the Native North American communities. This traditional style using tin plated steel; offers a delightful musical tinkling sound when in motion. (Unlike the muffled sound of recently introduced aluminum.)
