Cherry blossoms can only be collected once a year.  When the flowers bloom and the fragrance is strongest at night, the cherry blossoms with the best fragrance are picked and made into a flowering tea. Gyokuroen has succeeded in capturing the Color, Taste and Aroma without damaging the cherry blossoms.

Instructions:  (How to Brew Gyokuroen Sakura Tea).  Place one cherry blossom in a teacup, and pour hot water. The cherry blossoms open and the Aroma of the cherry blossoms spreads. You can also lightly wash with water to remove salt (to taste) before drinking. Standard of petals per cup of hot water: large petals use 1 petal, small petals use 2 petals.
